About Me
Hi, I’m Kaela. I write women’s fiction about love, friendship, heartbreak, and the messy, magical process of figuring out how we fit in this world—with the occasional bend in reality.
Originally from Cincinnati, I traded Midwest winters for Florida sunshine after earning a degree in Creative Writing and Communications from Ohio State. As of January 2026, I’m represented by UTA Publishing, which, at times, feels both very official and slightly surreal.
When I’m not hunched over my keyboard, you can usually find me running, experimenting with new recipes, or reading another book about twenty-somethings in crisis.
I’m currently several novels deep into this whole writing thing, and I’m patiently (okay, maybe not so patiently) waiting for the day I’ll get to say “my book is on shelves” without it sounding like a manifestation exercise.
